I haven't lost weight yet. I'm actually thinking about not doing a prescribed diet so that I will qualify for lap band surgery because my BMI isn't quite there yet.

A lot of people exagerate their height, this is a time to be honest because being shorter can qualify you. Also a $10 roll of quarters weighs a half a pound so if your really close don't empty your pocket change.

check out DrRrutledge on youtube for fail lapband...they are discontinuing them in Europe b/c they don't work that geat
