I have had the Lap-Band for over seven months now. Occasionally, I let myself have that cupcake or that hamburger. Yesterday I had a drumstick ice cream. I'm almost 65 pounds down and I attribute every ounce lost to not depriving myself, like I did for so many years. The Lap-Band helped me from being so inhibited. Weird, huh?
