Since I have committed to making changes in my life, I have met nothing but resistance from my spouse. I am 3 months into my 6 months of monitored weight loss. WLS should be right around the corner. I really hope he wakes up and starts to support me. Where is the Mr. Wonderful that I married? Why do I feel like I am being selfish by finally doing something for me?

Most people resist change. It can be harder for some than others. He may be afraid of the changes in your relationship.
Take him out to a resturant where you are constrained by social norms to stay calm and have an honest talk with him and LISTEN to not only what his is saying, but what he is really saying underneath.
In any event, do what you have to do for yourself to save your own life!
