I have a new "friend" who is skinny. I don't think I am interested in going back to a heavy guy again. It feels like I am turning my back on my people.

I don't think you're turning your back on the heavy world..you're including the normal world and that's cathartic..Soon people you know who are thin won't realize you have been anything but thin..
